Our Weekend: A Big Win

Happy Monday lovelies! Are you snowed in today too? I can’t believe that just two weeks ago, we had NO snow – and within one week, we have over 3’!

Not that I mind being snowed in with my little :) I’m doing a little bit of work from home today, but mostly I just plan on snuggling with her :)

The biggest part of our weekend was the Patriots SuperBowl win! Holy moly I still can’t believe they won!

Growing up, I didn’t know anything about sports, and I didn’t even care about football until I met Keith. Football is a huge deal in the McKenney household, and I very quickly fell in love with the game, and with the team. (I’m not sure they would have kept me around if I hadn’t gotten on board!) It’s been almost six years since I became a true Patriots fan – and seeing this SuperBowl win, was pretty special.

When I worked at TrashLand, I had the privilege of attending games with our company. My old boss owned the suite right next to Tom Brady’s – so seeing Gisele and the kids was very common! And let me tell you, however gorgeous you think Gisele is – is nothing in comparison to her in real life.

Back to the game – which was a nail biter, for sure, but after all the stupid controversy over deflategate – I knew in my gut they had to pull out a win to silence all the critics and haters. Those last few seconds of the game, a teeny bit of doubt started to creep into my mind, but timing and luck and positioning and just SMART football, were on our side.

It was pretty awesome stuff.

Watching the awards ceremony after, and listening to the players speeches – just warmed my heart. There really isn’t any other way to describe it! I love this team, for everything they are and what they stand for. “Tonight, we are all Patriots”. Gotta love Robert Kraft. I know Myra was smiling down on them!

Now – time to cue the Duck Boats and welcome our boys home!

Valentine’s Day Style for Your Mini

blogger-image-1906942883
I’m back and continuing to talk about Valentine’s Day! Today I’ve rounded up my favorite looks for your mini.
I like to mix where I buy things from – a little bit “box store” and a little bit “small shop”, and there is still time to buy all of these pieces!

This first look is what my little mini will be wearing Valentine’s Day week — I like to take advantage of holiday weeks, and wearing multiple holiday looks :) I think we’ll wear the onesie with a red tutu, and the pants with the shoes and a cute white tee.

For the little man in your life, I’ve rounded up a few favorites — I’m pretty obsessed with the little striped shoes!

Do you dress your littles up for each holiday? What are your favorite stores to find holiday styles?

blogger-image-619864708

Happy Hump-Day friends!

I’m very excited to be linking up with Lyndsey this week in honor of Valentine’s Day!

I haven’t sent out Valentines in years but I plan on sending a few this year .. obviously to my hubby, and some for Gracie! On her list are her daddy, her teacher, her Gram and Grampy and her best friend at school.

Enter Treat, a Shutterfly company! Treat offers personalized greeting cards with your choice of photo and/or wording and they will even mail it or email it for you. Does it get any easier than that?!

These are a few of my favorites:
