I can’t believe the holidays are literally right around the corner! Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?
Gracie is at a really fun age this year, and while I know she still won’t quite know what’s going on, I think she’s going to be really into the trees, lights and of course, the presents!
Reading is still her favorite activity! She spends hours each day, sitting on the floor of her closet, or in her reading chair – flipping through every single book in her room. Most times, she’s “reading” out loud and I love, love listening to her little voice and I would give pretty much anything to know exactly what she is saying!
A few weeks ago, we were gifted a fun new set of books – and she took to them like every other book!
The author, Kate David, was kind enough to send us both books – along with the magical hat – for us to read and review. Gracie didn’t quite understand the hat (but she’s just at that age where she dislikes hats!), but she loved the books! And I, loved the message behind them. Kate’s messages on the inside of the books to Gracie were also very sweet, and I hope it’s something she remembers as she grows up … that she can be anything she wants to be, all she has to do is dream it. Thank you Kate!! The Magic hat books can be purchased here and here.
If you have a young child on your list this year, these books would make the perfect gift!
I love the idea of gifts that follow “something she wants, something she needs, something to wear, and something to read” – so I will most likely be working that into our list this year! Here are some of the items on her little wishlist!
I love festive pjs, and when I saw these ones from babyGap, I couldn’t resist! Stickers are her second favorite thing – and this reusable sticker pad is actually really big, and perfect for her. And my floors, because the stickers peel right up! Her Northface fleece gets the most use out of her jackets, so I’m thinking about grabbing her this one as well. She wears it from September to May, so it’s a great buy!
What are your go-to gifts for toddlers?
