Thirteen Month Favorites

As of yesterday, my sweet Gracie girl is 13 months!

I have to say that this past month has probably been my favorite so far. She is *almost* walking and *almost* talking, but she is so interactive. She’s curious, funny, sweet and silly. She loves to laugh at herself, or the dog and she is always exploring. I love seeing her brain develop and watching the light bulb go off when she discovers something new.

Here is a round up of our favorite, can’t-live-without-’em favorites!

Mega Bloks: These were a first birthday gift and she’s completely obsessed. She could spend hours just putting things together and then taking them apart. At times, she likes to wear the (empty) bag on her head! The only con is that I am finding these damn blocks all.over.the.house!

Nuby Sippy Cup: We had a tough transition from the bottle to a cup. She would drink milk just fine in a bottle, but refused to drink it out of a cup. I finally found this cup that had a nipple that was very similar to a bottle. We did that for a week and then switched the nipple to the next level one, and now she will drink milk out of any regular sippy cup. These were a lifesaver!

First 100 Words: She really couldn’t have cared less about books until a month or so ago. I would try to read to her, and she would push the book and want to climb down. But at some point she decided she was ready for books – yay! This one is her favorite. She is always flipping through the pages, pointing at items and laughing. So freaking cute.

Disposable Placemats: We go out to eat at least once a week, and these are a must. I always feel like no matter how much I clean a table, it’s never clean enough! We love these!

I can’t believe how big she’s getting and how fast time is going – I’m finding myself constantly looking for something that I didn’t think we needed just yet. I’ve search Pinterest and blogs many times looking for other mama’s favorites, and figured I would add my own and hope it helps someone else out!
