I have been a REALLY bad blogger. Life got very crazy busy for the past couple of weeks, and I haven’t had much time to breathe. So let’s do a catch up post!
But first … has anyone else gotten sucked into the Bachelorette? Honestly, neither of them were my favorite on Prince Farming’s season, but I am most definitely #teamkaitlyn. I am also very annoyed that last night’s episode ended in a cliff hanger – I stayed up way past my bedtime for nothing! grrrr. If Britt gets chosen, I swear I won’t watch this season! Can you say fake much?
Ok back to my crazy life…..
1. We celebrated Gracie’s first birthday at the zoo and we had a big party for her on Mother’s Day. I’ll be doing a separate post on both this week! We also had her one year photo shoot, so I’ll be sharing those photos too!
2. We switched Gracie’s daycare! We had been on a wait list for a daycare in our town since I was ten weeks pregnant. (crazy I know) I got an email from the owner around the middle of April that she had an opening for May 1, so we took it! We made the switch because it’s a much smaller place, she follows a more strict schedule (which Gracie needs in order to take really good naps!), it’s only three minutes from our house, and is much cheaper. For what we were paying at her old center for three days, she now goes five full days …. which brings me to my next update!
3. I went back to working full time Monday-Friday. I really did love having Mondays off, but when the opportunity presented itself, we knew it was the right thing. We are still in that season of life where we are just bleeding money! So to be able to make extra money, was what we decided we needed to do. Maybe one day I’ll be able to just work part time!
And now for a photo dump from the last several weeks!
That’s all for now folks! I’ll be back to my regular blogging schedule now
Your hair looks great, short for summer is always fun! WHERE do you live that Lilly for Target is still on the shelves?? Lawter got that water table for her birthday and loves it! I couldn’t believe how fast she caught on to how things worked on it!
Oh man, my kids LOVED our water table! I got rid of it once I thought we were done having kids and surprise… we have our third baby. SO, I need to get another one for next summer. I’m sure Penelope will love water as much as Olivia and Jackson did.
