What to Wear Wednesday: Kate Middleton for Less!

I absolutely adore Duchess Catherine. I think she’s so beautiful, classy and an overall great role model for young girls. But I also love her style: classic, feminine and again, classy.

So, on this What to Wear Wednesday – and in honor of this lovely new mama near Mother’s Day – Brittany and I are sharing our favorite Kate looks and replicating them for you…but for much less! I don’t know about you, but I do not have $47,000 to spend on a wardrobe!

I think that what I love most about Kate’s style, is the way she carries herself, how tailored her clothes fit, and she knows what looks good on her (okay, everything looks good on her, but you know what I mean). So even if your clothes are from H&M, spend the money to get it tailored just right! And learn what looks good on you – and then run with that!

We can all learn a little something from her so here are my top tips and fave looks! Be sure to check out Brittany’s post for her favorite looks!

The first look is something you could wear to the office, or to a shower or graduation:

The look on the left is one of my favorites, and I found almost an exact one for only $68!

This second look is her signature “classic” look – and now you can replicate it, for less than $150 total!

The third look is an evening gown: I absolutely love her evening gowns. She looks like such a princess when she is all dolled up :)

Do you have any favorite looks of Duchess Catherine?

As a reminder, each Wednesday of the month, Brittany and I will be posting style ideas for a specific event. We plan to do a mix of both special events and everyday occasions, from how to mix prints or what to wear to a wedding. Is there a particular look you want ideas on styling? Leave us a comment or shoot either of us an email; we are happy to incorporate it!
