Weekend Blur

There is so much that I wish I could say about this weekend, but words just do not suffice. I alternate between feeling like I was living in a parallel universe to feeling like I’m going through a mid-life crisis at the age of 31. After a week of Keith traveling, I was SO looking forward to a relaxing weekend. It was anything but relaxing, but again, I just have no words.

Here’s what I can say: Gracie loves visits with her grandparents; we had our first fire and s’mores making of the year; tacos and wine on the patio; celebrating the love of two dear friends; matching outfits with my mini; and the most ridiculously fun girls night that I have had in a long time.

It’s crazy, but as we get older, time with our girlfriends becomes fleeting. But you know what? Sometimes a few hours with your friends is just what you need. We laughed until we cried, we cried until we laughed – we just were. There is nothing like the bond between friends. And I’m lucky for the ones that I have.

Happy Monday my friends.
