Tuesday Talk

The last week was absolutely nuts – poor Gracie had a stomach bug and I spent two days home with her.

Once she was all better, I’ve been cleaning and disinfecting like a mad woman. I hate being sick when it’s hot out! So, I’m going to do a little Tuesday catch up (since this post was originally intended to be a Friday Favorites. oops).

{one} Several months ago, I received this book from the hilarious Summer Land as a review.
I unfortunately haven’t had as much time  read anymore, so it took me a little bit longer to finish her book, but y’all – it was hysterical. Like, I really want to be “real life” friends with Summer – she is just that sweet, funny, engaging friend everyone wants to have. If you are looking for a great summer read (ha, see what I did there? 🙂 ) her book is perfect for lazy days by the pool or beach! Thank you Summer for the opportunity to review your book! Be sure to check out her blog here!

{two} Now that we officially booked our plane tickets to Hawaii (thank you AA Award miles!!) I’m obsessed with planning all the details, and have spent countless hours on vrbo.com. I love the idea of renting a condo and feel like we are living there, instead of just visiting. Just last night we decided on a fabulous condo with an inground pool, a huge yard and only a 3 minute walk to one of my favorite beaches.

{three} Over the weekend, I did an overhaul of my bathroom vanity. I collect far too many beauty and hair products, and it was time to get rid of stuff I don’t need. Know what one product I can’t live without?

This is the best dry shampoo! Sometimes I find it at TJMaxx, or Ulta but in this case, right in the juniors dept at Notdstrom!

{four} Father’s Day is just a couple weekends away, and while I have a few ideas on what to get Keith, I absolutely had to have this shirt for Gracie to wear. Can’t wait to surprise him!

I love River Babe Threads, and have ordered many shirts from them – the quality is superb too!

And lastly, after a solid ten days of 80 degree weather, the last 36 hours has been cold and rainy. How cold?

 Yep – I’m wearing boots and a scarf. Y’all, it’s JUNE.

Happy Tuesday my friends – I hope it’s a speedy week for you!
