Months 4 & 5

I’m a horrible blogger at the moment, and never got around to a four month update! So this month we’ll do a combined post. But first …
Happy FIVE months to our sweet nugget!

I’m HOW old?

Always deep in thought
She has grown by leaps and bounds these past few months. She is so much more vocal, alert and aware of her surroundings. She is still the happiest baby we know, and her smiles can light up a room!!
At her 4 1/2 month check up she weighed 14.4 pounds and was 24.75″ long!
This month we introduced her to solids — starting with fruits that would help her belly digest better. Prunes, pears and mango followed by butternut squash and sweet potato! She gobbles it all up and always wants more :) The solids have really helped her belly, she is never gassy or in belly pain anymore! Hallelujah!
She rolls from front to back, and back to front with no problem. She’s turned into a belly sleeper, and seems to sleep much more comfortably that way! I love peeking into her crib and seeing her snuggled in, with her cute little bum in the air :)
Sleep is still hit or miss, but slowly getting better. She’s getting good at soothing herself back to sleep when she wakes up at night and only wakes once or twice for a bottle. Several times we’ve been able to put her down fully awake, and within minutes she is sound asleep! I credit alot of our success with the sleep consultant we hired.
She loves her toes and feet!

All dressed up for her first Patriots game!

Eating oatmeal for the first time

She went to her first birthday party!

And we moved her into her “big girl” convertible car seat

Her first trip across state lines

With pears all over her face — pears are her favorite!

Sitting like a big girl in her high chair!

Posing for the camera — baby model!

Our dear Gracie, thank you for being the most wonderful thing to ever happen to us. We love more deeply, smile more often and have infinitely more patience than ever before. Every day you are teaching us, and we love seeing the world through your eyes. We love you, to the moon and back!
