Presently Pinning

thoughts-for-thursday_zps5b440953

I’ve been slacking with the blog posts lately, but I saw this fun idea from Home Sweet Ruby and had to copy! I mean, y’all know how much I love Pinterest, right? Who doesn’t?!

I’m also linking up with East Coast Chic!

Thoughts for Thursday
one ) I recently purchased an erin condren planner and am obsessed …. it serves so many purposes, and I love seeing how other people organize their lives!

two) football food!! Now that football season has started, I’m always looking for yummy recipes for gameday. We tend to just snack all day, so we are big fans of dips and easy apps like this one — I can’t wait to try it this weekend!

three) We are in the early (very early) stages of planning a mudroom addition onto our house, so I’ve been pinning pictures of my “dream” mudroom …. boy that makes me sound boring ;)

Mud room ideas. Note the floor, the brackets under the bench and the high wainscot, base show and..ooo... the dor trim...

four) It’s officially fall here in New England! I love fall clothes, fall holidays and fall inspired lattes! But seriously, there is something about plaid shirts, skinny jeans tucked into boots and VESTS (good golly I love vests!) that just makes me swoon.

five) and baby things … I obviously pin lots of baby stuff! I’ve been pinning 1st Christmas gift ideas, photography ideas, DIY felt headband tutorials, and of course — plenty of baby style! Gracie needs this outfit in her life :)

Game Day: Pats Style

blogger-image-2075713746

In our house, we have been counting down until today — the Patriot’s season opener!! We LIVE for football. Our Sundays consist of church and football, good food and family time. It’s my favorite part of fall. We plan on starting Gracie young and introducing her to our love for the Patriots.

My heart is these two <3

Better late than never….

We are still dealing with the dreaded four-month sleep regression in our house and have been (barely) surviving, thanks to sleep that comes in 45 minutes increments. Ooof. Praying there is a light at the end of this long, dark tunnel.
I was hoping to do a better recap of our long holiday weekend, but this will just have to do!
I had a half day on Friday, and I spent every second cuddling the nugget. Saturday we had a wedding, so Gracie and I packed up and headed west!

I can never get enough of those big eyes

I gave her a new toy before we hit the road … she thought the monkey was hilarious!

I’m loving my new haircut! Headed to the wedding :)

On Sunday, we left Grace with my mother-in-law for a couple of hours and we had our first solo date since she was born! We went to Nashoba Valley Winery, where we had ordered a picnic lunch! We grabbed a bottle of wine and headed out to the grounds to enjoy our lunch. It was stupid hot and muggy, but it was a lot of fun, and not something that we normally do. They also have a brewery and distillery so we tried a few of those before heading home :)

Monday was our actual anniversary, so after a slow start, we decided to drive to Newburyport and have lunch. Newburyport is one of those coastal quintessential New England towns, and it was a beautiful day to be outside. We had lunch at the Black Cow and then walked along the waterfront enjoying the day :)

Ice cream was the perfect ending to the afternoon

It was a wonderful weekend … if only every weekend could be three days!!
