Grace: Three Months

Happy three months my sweet little nugget!

I can’t even believe where the time has gone … every day things get better and better, and I am so lucky to be your mama!
You smile, you giggle, you coo and babble …. you are the most adorable little thing we’ve ever seen.

This month you rolled from front to back for the first time … and had your first deep belly laugh.
This month, you were baptized at St Patrick’s, by Deacon Frank.

You love going to church, and staring at all the lights and listening to the music. You are quite the distraction too! Families are always coming up to us and telling us how cute and well-behaved you are.

You love your daddy, and already a daddy’s girl. You save your best smiles for him :) And you love when daddy holds you and dances around the kitchen with you. You’re already a little country fan!

Your schedule goes something like this:
Monday and Tuesday morning you go to Grandma’s. The rest of the week you go to daycare, and you love it there! Your teachers adore you, as do the other kids.
You get up around 4:30 or 5am, and I bring you into bed, and we nurse and nap until 6am when I have to get up for work.
I hand you over to daddy and you either nap some more, or hang out with him. You are always in a happy, good mood!
I miss you so much during the day! Grandma calls, and your daycare sends me photos. I rush out of work every day at 5pm on the dot, and race to pick you up. Seeing your big gummy grin when I walk in the door, is my favorite part of the day.

When we get home from work, we snuggle all evening. I make dinner, wash and prep bottles, do some laundry and snuggle you some more!

Your nighttime routine is pretty much the same every night … bath (which you LOVE), a bubba, some more snuggles and you are out like a light.
Now that we are a month into our new routine, you are sleeping much, much better!
thank you very much for that
This month, you had your first sleepover away from us. I think you had a blast, and I was just a little worried leaving you but you did great!! You stayed up late, and played with your Auntie and were spoiled by your Pops. You are so lucky to have so much love in your life!!
At your 11 week appointment you weighed 12lbs1oz and were 23″ long. 47% and 52%, but your head! Your head is in the 82%!! You know what that means?? Time to buy some more headbands!
We just moved you into 3-6 month pants and onesies, since you are so long! Tops and dresses you can still fit into 0-3 months.

Having you in our life has been the most wonderful and amazing blessing. You truly are a gift, and we are so grateful to have been chosen to be your parents.

We love you to the moon and back, our sweet girl.

Weekending

Weekend1
We had such a busy, crazy weekend and I am still exhausted and not fully recovered!

Linking up with Meghan and Biana

Friday: Our little nugget turned three months!!

Who me??
I’m growing so fast!!
I officially put her in 3-6 month clothing! She is growing like a weed. I’ll be doing a three month post later this week.

I worked a half day, and squeezed in a pedicure at lunchtime before the nugget and I drove to Gardner, Keith’s hometown, for his buddy’s wedding.

Keith and Drew have been friends since they were … 8ish? They grew up together, played little league, ref’d soccer and stayed friends through high school, college and beyond. It was nice to see all our friends and it was also our first night without the baby! She had a sleepover with her Grammie and Pops, and had a wonderful time!

Me and the groom!

Meanwhile a few streets over …..

Someone stayed up past her bedtime with Auntie Meghan

And only got up once at night! She was all smiles early in the morning
Saturday: After going to a brunch at the bride’s parents house, we picked up Gunner and Gracie and went for a quick visit at Keith’s dad’s house, so they could see Gracie.

We were exhausted by the time we got home! We decided to try her activity seat, since she seems to want to be sitting up all the time. She loved it!

oh hello there parrot … will you be my friend?

Sunday: We were up early and at church for the 10am service, and Gracie was once again loving the lights and music. So many people stop us after the service to say how cute and good she is.

She fell asleep on our way to Home Depot, while we wandered the aisles discussing future house plans.

I used to find Home Depot boring too!

New kitchen counters??

My dream … a sink for the laundry area!

In the afternoon, we had her three month photo shoot and I am so excited to see how they came out!

an apology to my readers

Y’all, I am having severe technical (ok maybe user??) error with my blog. Specifically with comments.

A few months ago I installed google+ to my blog. Well, I hated it and tried to revert back. Everything reverted back except for the comments.

I hate that you have to have a google+ account to comment, and even more, I HATE that I cannot reply back! I click the little “reply” button and nothing happens. Grrrrr.

I’m trying to figure out how to fix this …. so in the meantime, please bear with me. And know that I am not ignoring you!!

If anyone has any tips, can you help a girl out?? anchoredtoloveblog (at) gmail dot com

Thank you!!!
